Come hear the story of the largest slave revolt in U.S. history

Award-winning historian John V. Quarstein will bring to life the story of Nat Turner, a literate slave who believed that he received directions from heaven to raise a slave rebellion in Southampton County. The August 1831 insurrection was the largest slave revolt in U.S. history. Come lunch and learn with us!
